Greg Millen

CEO

Greg Millen is the Chief Executive Officer of Wave International and is a co-founding Director with Mark Dorloff.

Greg brings more than twenty five years’ international experience in engineering projects across the breadth of Natural Resources sectors including Mining & Metals, Oil & Gas, Agriculture, Renewables, Power and Water.

A Global Perspective with a focus on Delivery and Shareholder Value are hallmarks of Greg’s ‘results driven’ implementation style which can be attributed to his early career with recognized organizations such as Mobil Oil, United Construction (UGL) and Wesfarmers Resources. Greg remains ‘hands on’ within the Wave business to Determine, Design and Deliver in various project roles such as Client Advisor/Representative, Project Director and Project Reviewer for all manner of projects large and small.

Key areas of expertise in major projects include – execution strategy, formulation & review of estimates with oversight of delay / cost variables and risk, management of all levels of studies (concept to bankable), multidiscipline design management, procurement & construction management, commissioning and operational readiness oversight.

Greg is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Engineers Australia holding an Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Western Australia. He is a proud Member of Consult Australia, AusIMM and the AICD.

Gareth Davies

Gareth has been a Director of Wave since 2011 after joining as the Finance Manager in 2010. He progressed to Chief Financial Officer, and in 2013, transitioned to Chief Operating Officer.

Prior to joining Wave Gareth had 15 years’ experience in Financial, Strategy and Management roles with large financial institutions and small management consultants in both the UK and Australia.

Gareth holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia, and a Graduate Diploma in Strategic Finance from Oxford University. He is an Associate of the Certified Practicing Accountants.

Mark Dorloff

Mark Dorloff is the co-founder of Wave International with Greg Millen and the Executive General Manager for the Australian East Coast operations. Mark is a Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer with significant experience predominantly in the mining sector. His experience ranges from implementation on maintenance strategies, commissioning of coal handling facilities through to management of woodchip mill projects.

Mark is highly skilled in project management, works execution, budgeting, personnel supervision and leadership providing mentoring to a team of multidisciplinary engineers and drafts people across the business and directly focused to the Eastern Australian Offices. Mark is also responsible for estimating, tendering, design, construction management & supervision from concept to completion of all capital projects ranging in size.

Ryan Hanrahan

Ryan Hanrahan is a Brisbane based Mechanical Engineer with over 12 years’ experience, predominantly in the mining and heavy industrial sectors. Primary areas of experience and expertise include: management of multi discipline design teams, delivery of front end engineering, feasibility studies and capital estimates, materials handling plant design, analysis, system debottlenecking in the mining and port environments, Numerical modelling (FEA), structural analysis, fatigue analysis and failure investigations.

Ryan is a Director and Principal of Wave, delivering various project to the mining industry from minor maintenance projects to significant capital projects and studies.
