Gregory Crinum- Product Yard Conveyors Upgrade
Wave was commissioned to deliver a capacity upgrade project for the Gregory Crinum Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP) which included a Feasibility Study, Detailed Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management.
The project involved capacity upgrades to product conveyors including transfer chutes, debottlenecking of the process plant and structural and electrical refurbishments, Wave delivered the project through 2 phases:
The objective of the study was to identify production improvements to the CHPP to achieve a 25% increase in productivity. This included a dynamic simulation, identifying debottlenecks, preliminary engineering, scheduling and cost estimates for capital approval, as well as establishing a staged upgrade program based around capital cost per step increase in annual production.
Wave provided shutdown construction management support through the execution phase of the project.
